MILWAUKEE – The No. 11/12 Marquette University women’s soccer team’s four-game win streak is on the line this weekend. The Golden Eagles take their first road trip of the season to Tallahassee, Fla., where they will take on No. 7/10 Florida State on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.

A live video stream will be available for the game on a pay-per-view basis.

Following its trip to the Sunshine State, Marquette will return home to host North Dakota on Sunday, Sept. 4. Kickoff at Valley Fields is set for 1 p.m.

Marquette enters the 2010 Sweet 16 rematch with the Seminoles with a perfect 4-0-0 record. Last weekend, the Golden Eagles defeated Saint Louis (5-0) and No. RV/23 Long Beach State (2-1) en route to its first MKE Cup title since 2006. The Golden Eagles saw seven different players account for all seven of their goals against the Billikens and 49ers. Rachael Sloan leads the team with six points on one goal and four assists, while Lindsey Page and Maegan Kelly each have contributed a team-best two goals.

The Golden Eagles are 1-1 all-time against Florida State. The Seminoles took the last meeting, 3-0, in the third round of the 2010 NCAA Championship, while Marquette won the first game of the series, 1-0, in Clemson, S.C., during the 1995 season.

Florida State is 3-1 overall with wins coming over Oregon State (1-0), New Mexico (1-0) and North Florida (5-0). The Seminoles were picked to finish second in the ACC behind North Carolina and return nine starters from the 2010 squad that advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship. Tiffany McCarty, who is back after sitting out the 2010 season with an injury, leads the team with three goals.

The Fighting Sioux enter the weekend 2-1 overall with wins over Northern Illinois (2-0) and South Dakota (3-2). Rachael Loomis leads the squad with five points on two goals and one assist. She was recently named the Great West Conference Player of the Week for her effort in North Dakota’s win over NIU.

North Dakota will play at Green Bay on Friday before making the trip to Milwaukee.
