MILWAUKEE - For the second consecutive week senior Shannon Cusick was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll announced by league officials Monday afternoon.

Cusick played an integral role in Marquette's 1-1 week, where despite out-shooting No. 24 Wis.-Milwaukee 15-5, the Golden Eagles dropped a 1-0 decision to the Panthers to mark MU's first loss of the season.

The Golden Eagles rebounded from that loss with a 1-0 overtime win against No. 26 BYU Saturday evening at Valley Fields. Cusick was a critical defensive presence in MU's overtime win over BYU where the Cougars took 12 shots, the most Marquette has allowed in a single game all season.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action this weekend at the Auburn Tournament where they will play South Carolina on Friday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m., and host Auburn on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
