MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's soccer team placed another Golden Eagle on the BIG EAST Honor Roll following an undefeated weekend as junior defender Katie Miller was MU's latest honoree. It was announced Monday afternoon by conference officials. Miller's selection marked the fourth honor roll nod the Golden Eagles have received this season.

Miller played an integral role in Marquette's win and tie this weekend as she played the entire 200 minutes over both games. She was a part of MU's defensive contingent that allowed just one goal on the weekend and held Connecticut scoreless.

At Providence, the Golden Eagles' stonewall defense allowed just seven total shots, four of which were on goal over the 110 minutes of play. Against Connecticut, Miller helped controlled MU's defense and limit the league's leading shot takers to just 11 total shots and only three in the second half .

The Golden Eagles begin a four-match road swing at DePaul on Friday, Oct. 3. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m. in Chicago.
