NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Senior defender Katie Kelly was named to the BIG EAST Conference All-Tournament Team Sunday. It was announced following Notre Dame's 1-0 overtime win over Connecticut in the championship game.

Kelly helped Marquette (11-7-3) to advance to the BIG EAST Semifinals for the third time in the last four seasons with a 1-0 win over Rutgers on Nov. 2. The Golden Eagles fell to top-ranked Notre Dame, 2-0, in the tournament semis.

The Golden Eagles await the NCAA Tournament selection committee's decision of whether it will be among the field of 64 for the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Tournament Selection Show will be broadcast live on ESPNews on Monday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. CT. Fans are welcome to join the Golden Eagles Monday night at MU's Union Sports Annex located on the corner of 16th and Wells as they watch the unveiling of the 64-team bracket.
