Jacie Jermier Named NSCAA Scholar All-Region

KANSAS CITY – Marquette University women’s soccer player Jacie Jermier was honored as an NSCAA Women’s Scholar All-North/Central Region First Team selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
The redshirt senior entered the fall semester with a 3.57 grade point average as a biomedical sciences major and was a three-time BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection. Jermier was also honored by the NSCAA on Dec. 3 with All-Northeast Region First Team recognition.
"We are extremely proud of Jacie and the career she has had at Marquette,” Marquette head coach Markus Roeders said. “Congratulations on her graduation from Marquette this month; we are very grateful for the contributions she made as a student-athlete. She set the bar very high for herself and those around her and exemplified excellence throughout the years. We wish Jacie much success in the future and know she will make a difference in this world."
Jermier played a key role this season for the Golden Eagles in their defensive unit and in the midfield, while also chipping in offensively. Jermier tied for second on MU with 10 points coming off a pair of goals and a team-high six assists. She was a Senior CLASS Award candidate this season and an All-BIG EAST First Team selection.
