Junior (2006-07) -- Had an impressive junior campaign her first season at Marquette recording a 17-10 overall record including 14-6 in dual action. In BIG EAST play Brown was 6-1 with her only defeat to Colleen Rielley of no. 2 Notre Dame. Played primarily at no. 6 singles and tallied a 9-3 record there. A versatile player, Brown moved around in the lineup seeing action at no. 4 (2-0) and no. 5 (3-2) singles. Scored 13 straight wins, and won 20 straight sets, one set shy of breaking a school record. In doubles play, Brown played 20 matches with Lauren Little at the top doubles slot where they went 10-10 overall. Brown played 12 matches with Robin Metzler registering an overall record of 6-6. The duo was 4-1 in dual play. Brown was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team for her doubles play with Little during the tournament. The twosome went 2-0 and defeated their counterparts from Rutgers and Louisville.

Prior to Marquette -- Brown competed for two seasons at Marshall. As a sophomore, she tallied a 15-14 singles record, splitting time in the no. 3-5 positions. As a freshman she spent much of the season as the no. 6 singles player and as part of the no. 3 doubles team. Brown registered an overall record of 12-4 playing singles and was 21-4 playing doubles. One of those doubles victories came in the NCAA Tournament against Kentucky. At St. Thomas Aquinas, Brown was ranked in the top-100 nationally in the USTA rankings four-straight seasons. She placed third in the state tennis met in both her sophomore and junior years and was fifth at state her freshman season.

Personal -- Born March 10, 1986, Brown is the daughter of Dan and Pam Brown. She is an advertising major.
