2011-12 - Dawson earned double-digit singles victories (16) in her first season as a Golden Eagle, seeing majority of action at No. 3, 4 and 5 positions in dual matches. In tournament play, she collected multiple singles victories at the Spartan Invitational, Kansas Fall Invitational and the adidas IU Winter Invitational. Dawson partnered with multiple teammates to record an overall 12-18 doubles mark. She earned the team's dedication award for her efforts. Prior to Marquette - Dawson was a three-time letter winner at University High School and the team Captain in 2010... She was the 2010 Pacific Coast League Champion and was a California Interscholastic Federation- Southern Section semifinalist... That same season Dawson captured the Pacific Coast League doubles championship with partner Kyra Scott and the duo were semifinalists in the CIF-Southern Section in California... Dawson took third place in the All-American Tournament in 2010... Dawson was a two-time Pacific Coast League finalist in 2008-2009... Following her junior season, Dawson received the prestigious University High School Athletic Award from her school and was named all-conference in the Pacific Coast League.
