Junior (2005-06) -- Saw limited action in her junior season playing in five total matches for the Golden Eagles. Was 2-1 in spring play with consecutive wins at five singles over South Dakota State and Chicago State on March 25. Went 0-1 in conference play with a straight set 6-0 loss against Notre Dame (April 9). Teamed four different doubles partners, Andrea Bukacek, Dominika Dabrowski and Erin Watkins at no. 3 doubles posting a 4-2 record, and played with Maria Calbeto and Robin Metzler at no. 2 doubles for one match. Was 0-1 when playing with both Calbeto and Metzler at no. 2 doubles. Sophomore (2004-05) -- Donovan saw limited action in the spring playing in just three matches at no. 6 singles and one doubles match with Erin Watkins at the third spot. She registered a 0-3 singles record her sophomore more season. Prior to Marquette -- Donovan played as a freshman at Dayton, where she was no. 4 singles and no. 2 doubles. She had the second most doubles wins on the team. She was all conference and county all four years at Carmel. She was All State and top Illinois finisher and team captain senior year and was named team MVP junior and senior year...Chicago Catholic league no. 1 singles champion junior year and no. 1 doubles champion senior year. she was also Sportswoman Honoree of the Year. Personal -- Born May 14, 1985, Donovan is the daughter of Terry and Mary Donovan. She is a speech pathology major. |
