Franks, a native of Brisbane, Australia, was a four-year letter-winner at Brisbane Girls Grammar School (High School)…. Has won championships in three Australian Open women’s events… Represented Brisbane in the state championship at the Brisbane International in 2016… Was selected as the top player for the Brisbane Chargers, a squad that competes in the prestigious Asia-Pacific Tennis League.

Represented Queensland in the Australian U19 National Tennis Championships In 2014 and 2015… Earned the tournament’s top player honors each season….Captured the Queensland U16 State Title and was honored with the Daphne Fancutt Shield in 2013.

Earned letters in football, track and field, cross country, and softball... Totaled 23 letters throughout her high school career… Parents are Ron and Debra…Has one older brother, Curtis…Plans to major in political science.
