MILWAUKEE--The Marquette University women's squad made quick work of in-state foe Green Bay, blanking the Phoenix, 7-0 on Saturday evening at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

Marquette wasted no time getting on the board with the doubles point as Erin Gebes and Silvia Ambrosio earned a 6-2 decision at the No. 1 position, while Diana Tokar and Paula Tormos Sanchez teamed up at the No. 2 slot and won easily, 6-1 to clinch the first point.

Gebes continued her excellent play on the singles side and gave MU (5-3) its second point of the match with a winning 6-1, 6-0 decision at No. 2 just before Ambrosio finished in a 6-1, 6-1 match at the No. 1 position.

Leoni Daems was the next Golden Eagle finished as she secured the match victory for Marquette with a 6-0, 6-4 clinching win at the No. 6 slot, while Tormos Sanchez concluded play with a 6-4, 6-1 victory on the No. 4 court.

Helping to complete the sweep was Tokar with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles and Courtney Hebard earning a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 5.
