BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Marquette University women's tennis team (8-3) dropped a 6-1 decision at No. 66 Indiana (11-3) Sunday afternoon at the IU Tennis Center.

Olga Fischer was the lone Golden Eagle to come away victorious in singles play. Indiana cruised to the doubles point and never looked back. The No. 1 duo of

Fischer and Gillian Hush came the closest to victory, but fell 8-4 to Sophie Garre and Katie Klyczek.

In singles play, IU went ahead 2-0 quickly after Hush went down 6-1, 6-3 to Leslie Hureau at No. 1. Fischer tried to get MU's rally started with her 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2 over Klyczek, but the comeback was short lived as the Hoosiers won at No. 3 and No. 6 to clinch the match win.

The Golden Eagles continue their road trip at TCU on Sunday, March 11.
