MILWAUKEE--The Marquette women's tennis team made quick work of Dranke on Sunday, pushing through to a swift, 7-0 victory at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

MU (6-4) got on the board first with doubles victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 slots as Silvia Ambrosio and Paula Tormos Sanchez won, 6-1 at No. 1 and Fleur Eggink and Diana Tokar took a 6-2 win.

The Golden Eagles continued their momentum in singles play with Ambrosio earning a 6-1, 6-3 win and Tormos Sanchez pulled through to a 6-0, 6-7, 11-9 win at the No. 2 slot.

Tokar took a quick 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 3 court, while Eggink, Isabelle Franks and Lesley Foe also won their singles matches.

Marquette will be off until spring break and will travel to UC Riverside on Tuesday, March 13 at 3:30 p.m. Central time.
