MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.--The Marquette University women's tennis squad concluded play at the Gopher Invite on Saturday, hosted by the University of Minnesota.

Following their success after day one, sophomore Courtney Hebard and freshman Fleur Eggink picked right up and worked their way through to winning their doubles draw with two victories, including a 6-0 decision over Eastern Michigan's tandem.

Freshman Isabella Franks had reached the consolation final in her singles Flight E.

Eggink defeated Maria Pandya from South Dakota, 6-3, 6-1, in the same flight after besting Carin Renefelt of Iowa, 6-3, 6-0.
