COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Play concluded Sunday for the Marquette University women's tennis squad at the United States Air Force Academy Invitational in Colorado Springs.

The Golden Eagles concluded action with a successful day of matches, including three victories on the singles' courts.

Junior Erin Gebes and freshman Paula Tormos Sanchez won their second doubles match of the tournament with an 8-4 victory over the duo from Air Force.

Gebes won easily in her singles match with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Chrissie Hoolahan from Northern Colorado, while Vanessa Foltinger earned her second singles win in Colorado with a decision over Sabina Jeresic from Arkansas State. Junior Aleeza Kanner won her singles flight for the day with a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Chiara Stefanov from Arkansas State.

The Golden Eagles are back in action this weekend as they travel to Arizona to compete in the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson. Play begins Friday, Oct. 3.
