MU Concludes Second Day Action at SMU

DALLAS, Texas--The Marquette women's tennis team concluded play in the second day of the SMU Invitational and the Golden Eagles had another day with success on the court.

The doubles pair of Diana Tokar and Paula Tormos Sanchez won their match, 7-5, and will play in SUnday's final in the #2 doubles draw.

In consolation brackets, Tormos Sanchez won in the #4 singles draw, 6-4, 7-6 and will take on ACU's Whitney Williams in the consolation final on Sunday.

Also winning in singles play was Fleur Eggink as she powered through to a 6-1, 5-7, 6-1 victory and will take on host school's Dasha Sharapova.

Competition concludes on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. as Tokar and Tormos will play on the outdoor courts.
