Milwaukee-- After waiting out a morning rain delay, the Arizona State Women's Tennis Fall Invitational got underway early Friday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center with a shortened scheduled of one round of pro-set doubles and two rounds of singles play.

Marquette faced Arizona Sate in doubles action and New Mexico in doubles play. The Golden Eagles played tough throughout competition, but failed to come up with a victory. Play continues today and will finish up tomorrow.
