Milwaukee-In the final day of competition at the Arizona State Invitational, the Marquette women's tennis team stole two doubles matches against Santa Clara.

The Veronica Garcia Briseno/Genevieve Charron tandem defeated Santa Clara's Janalle Kaloi/Catherine Cochrane duo, 8-2.

Katherine Nasteva and Francina Bonelly defeated Casey Knutson and Jenny Siegel, 8-3, to claim the second win for Marquette.

The Golden Eagles are next in action Oct. 23-28 at the ITA Midwest Championships hosted by Western Michigan.
