Golden Eagles Conclude Action at ITA Midwest Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--Junior Erin Gebes and freshman Silvia Ambrosio dropped matches on Saturday as the Marquette University women's tennis team concluded its time at the 2015 ITA Midwest Regional at the University of Michigan.
A a doubles tandem, Gebes and Ambrosio fell to Rooney and Larner of Northwestern, 8-6, in the round of 16.
Ines Vias from Illinois defeated Gebes in main draw singles action, 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday, while Ambrosio dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Jerricka Boone, also from Illinois.
Kanner went on to defeat Delasa of Bryant, 6-2, 7-6 (7-0), and bested Green Bay the third round 4-6, 6-0, 6-0 .
Hebard also earned two singles wins, 6-2, 6-4 over NIU's Noell in round two and 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) over Green Bay in the third round, while Leoni Daems picked up a pair of wins in the C Flight with a 6-4, 6-0 decision over Bryant and 7-5, 6-1 in the day's final event.
The trio in Rockford will conclude action on Sunday with doubles and singles.
