MU Women's Tennis Takes On Minnesota, UIC

MILWAUKEE — The Marquette University women’s tennis team travels to Minneapolis on Friday to take on Minnesota at 2 p.m. Central time. The Golden Eagles will return to Milwaukee to host UIC on Sunday with first serve at 11 a.m. CT.
The Golden Eagles (1-2) are coming off a tough 6-1 loss at Indiana, where sophomore Milica Novakovic earned the lone point of the day.
The Golden Gophers (4-1) most recently tallied their first loss of the season to Utah on Sunday, Feb. 4 in a tight 4-3 battle. UIC (0-1) suffered their first loss in the team's first match to Iowa State on Saturday, Feb. 3 at home in a 6-1 decision.
Marquette has been topped by Minnesota in the last five matchups between the two squads. However, the Golden Eagles have downed UIC in the last nine matchups.
Marquette returns to the road for a trip to Western Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. CT.
