Women's Tennis Set To Host No. 71 DePaul

Milwaukee- Fresh off their fifth straight victory, the Marquette University women's tennis team will host No. 71 DePaul Friday Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. CT at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

In their most recent action the Golden Eagles (6-2) defeated Western Michigan 5-2 at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium. MU was perfect in doubles play, registering a clean sweep. In singles freshman Aleeza Kanner clinched the match for Marquette winning her singles match, 6-3, 6-2.

DePaul (5-2) is riding a five-game wining streak of their own, most recently defeating Iowa 5-2 at home. In their victory against Iowa DePaul recorded the doubles point for the fourth straight match.

After the BIG EAST contest against DePaul, MU will host Ball State and Valparaiso Sunday at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium. The Golden Eagles will take on Ball State(7-2) at 9 a.m. CT and then return to action in the afternoon against Valparaiso (1-5) at 2:30 p.m. CT.
