MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's tennis team will travel to Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, March 5 to take on Drake University, with first serve schedule for 10 a.m. CT at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

The matchup will conclude a stretch which saw the Golden Eagles play five of their last six matches on the road. It will also be Marquette's second trip to Iowa on the current road swing, previously taking on Eastern Michigan and Iowa, in Iowa City back in early February.

The Bulldogs (6-6) have enjoyed a home-court advantage throughout their dual season, playing to a record of 4-1 at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center. The Golden Eagles (5-4) will look to turn around its fortune on the road, finishing 1-3 in dual matches away from Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

The venue has not made a difference for the singles play of Aleeza Kanner, who is currently 6-0 in singles matches during MU's dual slate. The same could be said about the doubles team of Silvia Ambrosio and Erin Gebes, who have won 12 of their last 14 official doubles contests.

Six of seven MU players currently have a singles record above-.500, culminating to a total singles record of 36-18 (.667) for the Golden Eagles.

After its match with Drake, MU will return home to host Illinois State, and BIG EAST foe, Butler, on March 19 and 20, respectively.
