Women's Tennis Travels to Las Vegas

MILWAUKEE--The Marquette women's tennis team will look to return to winning ways as it travel our west to Las Vegas, Nev. For a spring break trip. The Golden Eagles will play at UNLV on Tuesday, March 11 at Noon Central time, before facing Ohio State on a neutral court Friday, March 14.
The Golden Eagles own a 6-4 overall record this season after falling Saturday to Minnesota at home. Junior Ali Dawson has won five straight singles matches and is 7-3 this season, including a perfect 2-0 at No. 2 and No. 4 singles slots.
UNLV was swept by No. 17 Michigan in its most recent action. The Rebels are an even 5-5 on their season and led by Lucia Batta with a 17-7 overall record and 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
No. 59 Ohio State defeated Princeton on Saturday, 6-1 to improve to 8-4 overall in its fifth consecutive victory. The Buckeyes will face host UNLV on Wednesday, March 12 before facing Marquette.
Following the west coast swing, the Golden Eagles return home to host Illinois State and IUPUI on Friday, March 21.
