Milwaukee- Coming off consecutive losses against UC-Irvine and San Diego State on its recent West Coast road trip in California, the Marquette University women's tennis team looks to bounce back this weekend when they return to Helfaer Tennis Stadium to face Illinois State on Sunday, March 24 at 11 a.m. CT.

After falling to Memphis, Illinois State will be looking to rebound when they head into Helfaer Tennis Stadium on Sunday. The Red Birds have struggled as of late, only winning one match out of their last six. ISU's last victory came against New Orleans on March 3.

This season the Golden Eagles have found success on their home court, only dropping a 6-1 decision to DePaul on Feb. 15. The women's squad has struggled outside Helfaer Tennis Stadium, dropping their last five matches and has not defeated an opponent since squaring off against Wisconsin on Feb. 20.

Freshmen Erin Gebes will look to continue her recent success against the Red Birds on Sunday. Gebes has won 12 of her last 14 matches in singles play.

This will be Marquette's first action at home in over a month.
