MILWAUKEE- The Marquette University women's tennis team (8-6) will head to Notre Dame, Ind., on Wednesday, to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Opening serve is slated for 2:30 p.m. Central time.

Marquette will look to extend its current two-match winning streak and is coming off a doubleheader victory at Helfaer Tennis Stadium with two consecutive 7-0 sweeps over Illinois State and IUPUI.

Notre Dame will head into the match with an 8-8 record overall and a 2-6 record in the ACC. This will be the first home match for the Fighting Irish in four matches as they return from a road trip where they collected wins against Boston College and College of Charleston, but fell to Virginia and North Carolina.

Following the trip to South Bend, the Golden Eagles will return home to face two BIG EAST opponents, Xavier and Butler. First serve against Xavier is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT at Helfaer Tennis Stadium and free pizza will be given out for students following doubles competition.
