MILWAUKEE-- The Marquette University women's tennis team (8-6) returns home to Helfaer Tennis Stadium this weekend for matches against BIG EAST foes Xavier and Butler.

Marquette returns to Milwaukee following a loss to No. 24 Notre Dame, where it was swept 7-0. The Golden Eagles will look to get back in the win column and continue their recent streak of success at home. MU has won four of its past five matchups on its home court.

The Golden Eagles first opponent is the Xavier Musketeers. The Musketeers head into the match with a 13-3 record on the season. They have collected all their wins in a recent stretch where they have won 13 of 14 games.

The second opponent of the home stand is the Butler Bulldogs. Butler is currently 3-13 on the season and has managed just one victory in its past 10 matches.

The first serve for the match against Xavier will be at noon Central time on Saturday, March 29. Marquette students who attend Saturday's action against the Musketeers will receive free pizza. Sunday's match against Butler is also slated to begin at noon CT.
