MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women’s tennis team will wrap up a nine-match road trip with College of Charleston on Thursday, April 13 at 1 p.m. Central time and against South Carolina State on Saturday, April 15.

The Golden Eagles are riding a four-match winning streak and have only dropped one match all season away from home. In last weekend’s action, Marquette defeated both Creighton and Nebraska-Omaha, 6-1.

College of Charleston is 15-8 on the season and most recently defeated James Madison 4-3, dealing the Dukes their first home-loss of the season. College of Charleston will take on Georgia Southern one day prior to facing Marquette.

South Carolina State tallies a 5-9 record on the season and lost its last match to College of Charleston, 6-1, on April 2. The loss snapped a three-match win streak for the Bulldogs.

Following Marquette’s dual matches in South Carolina, the Golden Eagles head back to Milwaukee to wrap up the regular season against a pair of BIG EAST opponents. Marquette will play DePaul on April 21 at 3 p.m. CT, followed by Seton Hall on April 23 at 12 p.m. CT.

The Golden Eagles will return to South Carolina for the BIG EAST Championships beginning April 27.
