CAYCE, S.CThe Marquette women's tennis team ended its season on a high note with a 4-0 sweep over Creighton in a backdraw match at the BIG EAST Tournament on Saturday.

Like much of the dual match season, the Golden Eagles (12-9) took the doubles point to begin the match. Aleeza Kanner and Leoni Daems made quick work of their opponent with a 6-0 sweep on the No. 3 court, to finish dual match season with an 8-3 mark together. Silvia Ambrosio and Erin Gebes teamed on court No. 1 for a 6-2 victory and conclude the season with a 12-4 record on the top court.

Paula Tormos Sanchez gave Marquette its second point of the match with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles, while Kanner followed with a 6-3, 6-1 decision in the fifth slot. Kanner concludes her MU career with an 11-5 singles record this season in dual action. Diana Tokar clinched the win for the Golden Eagles with a 6-2, 6-1 victory in position No. 3.
