MILWAUKEE--The Marquette University women's tennis team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 campaign, head coach Jody Bronson has announced.

The fall portion of the schedule will begin with the 40th Annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic at the Town Club in Fox Point, Wisconsin. The eight-team event features four men's and four women's programs and is one of the most unique events in the country, as it is contested on the facility's clay courts.

The women will continue their fall slate of events in Bloomington, Indiana, the site of the Hoosier Classic in late September. To begin the month of October, the women will head to Tucson, Arizona, where the Arizona Wildcat Tournament will be contested. In the same event last season, Erin Gebes and Ana Pimienta finished runner-up in the doubles main draw.

The Golden Eagles will remain on the road for the ITA Regionals, held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Last season, Paula Tormos Sanchez won her singles flight, while Diana Tokar took home third in her flight. The fall schedule will conclude at the Western Michigan Super Challenge from Nov. 6-8.

The spring schedule will open in Jan. 16 when Marquette participates in the Hoosier Winter Classic. This will conclude tournament play for the Golden Eagles until the BIG EAST Championships.

Marquette begins dual season play on Saturday, Jan. 23, with a matchup against cross-town foe Milwaukee, which kicks off a four-match home stand at Helfaer Tennis Stadium. The slate concludes with a matchup against another in-state foe, Wisconsin on Saturday, Jan. 30.

After hitting the road in early February to take on the likes of Eastern Michigan and Iowa, MU returns home to play Western Michigan and Green Bay on consecutive Saturdays, Feb. 13 and Feb. 20.

Marquette will then make its third trip to Bloomington, Indiana this season in a dual against the Hoosiers on Feb. 28. Marquette will take on BIG EAST opponent Butler on Mar. 20 at home before heading to Florida to take on Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic on Wednesday, March 23 and Saturday, March 26, respectively.

Marquette's last five dual matches will be contested against BIG EAST opponents in April before participating in the BIG EAST Conference Championships April 28-May 1. Last season, the Golden Eagles fell to DePaul in the BIG EAST semifinals.
