The Marquette women's tennis team will be back in action this weekend at the Wolverine Invitational hosted by the University of Michigan. Play will begin Friday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT at the Varsity Tennis Center and conclude Sunday, Oct. 3. Live scoring will be available courtesy of

Along with Marquette and Michigan, Michigan State, Western Michigan and Purdue will also be participating.

The tournament will feature two singles draws with 16 players in each. Friday's action will consist of two singles matches for each student-athlete, win or lose.

In the Maize Draw Friday, Kelly Barry will take on Maggie Remynse of Western Michigan, Olga Fischer will tangle with Michigan's Sam Critser and Gillain Hush will play Maria Nivia of Western Michigan.

In the Blue Draw, Rachael Hush will meet April Kerr in her first match and Chelsea Utting will play Michigan's Kari Wig.

Play on Saturday will resume with two doubles matches and a round of singles matches. Sunday will feature one singles and one doubles match.

Doubles draws have yet to be released.
