The Marquette University women's volleyball squad lost a hard fought match, 3-1 (21-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-13), to Notre Dame Friday evening at the Al McGuire Center.

The Marquette University women's volleyball team returns home for the first of three-straight home BIG EAST matches, when it hosts conference leader Notre Dame Friday at 7 p.m. at the Al McGuire Center. The Golden Eagles will then welcome DePaul to the "Al" at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Friday's match against Notre Dame will be televised on a tape-delay basis by Sports32.

The Marquette University women's volleyball squad will hold a weekend full of activities for its alumni over the University's Alumni Weekend (Nov. 14-15). In conjunction with Marquette University's centennial celebration of women at Marquette, the Golden Eagles will recognize the first Marquette women's volleyball team (1975) between sets two and three of the match with Villanova on Nov. 15.
