2009 (Sophomore): Named All-BIG EAST Second Team...Two-time BIG EAST Honor Roll honoree (Oct. 26 & Nov. 16) for her play against Green Bay (Oct. 21), Syracuse (Oct. 24) and Villanova (Nov. 15)...Ended the season tenth in the BIG EAST in points and eighth in kills...In conference-only matches, ranked second in kills (206 total, 4.04/set) and fourth in points (4.55/set)...With her 35 service aces, ranked tenth in the BIG EAST with 0.31 per set...Named to the Michigan Invitational All-Tournament Team...Recorded double digits in kills in 15 of the last 18 matches...Recorded 15 kills and 15 digs against Notre Dame on Nov. 6, for her seventh double-double of the season...Notched a career-high 24 kills against Loyola-Chicago (Aug. 29) and West Virginia (Sept. 27)...Recorded four service aces on Oct. 11 at St. John's...In last two BIG EAST contests, against DePaul and Villanova, combined for 32 kills with a .391 attack percentage and 17 digs.

Prior to Marquette (Kishwaukee (Ill.) College): In her only year at Kishwaukee, Beyer led the squad to its third consecutive NJCAA Division II National Championship, an NJCAA record, with a 56-3 record, en route to being named tournament MVP...named a 2008 AVCA Two-Year Colleges First Team All-American...set the school's single season kils record with 784, while leading the nation in that category...also led the country with 197 aces and ranked 36th in hitting percentage...was also second on her team with 306 digs in 2008.

(Bloomington High School): Beyer was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Bloomington High School...led the Raiders her senior year to a 33-4 record and a berth in the sweet sixteen of the state tournament...as a senior averaged 4.1 kills and 3.1 digs per set...school record holder inl kills in a season (375) and kills in a match (22)...also ranks second in school history in total kills (1,025) and total aces (163)...all-area and all-conference first team selections as a senior...with Illini Elite Volleyball club, competed at the girls USA Volleyball National Championships from 2003-08... earned AAU All-American honors in 2006...has eight former AAU teammates playing Division I volleyball, including Maggie Mergen at BIG EAST rival Villanova...also a two-year letterwinner in track, Beyer was a two-time state qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles.

Personal: Beyer was born in Bloomington, Ill., to Mark and Robin Beyer...has an older brother, Justin...mother ran track at Illinois State as a collegian...plans to major in communications studies.
