2009 (Redshirt Junior): Started 20 matches in 2009 while recording 199 total kills...Was fifth on the team with 149 digs...Recorded a season-high seven blocks at Milwaukee (Sept. 12) while reaching a double-double with 15 kills and 11 digs...Double-double against Milwaukee was the final in a string of three consecutive double-doubles recorded at the Panther Invitational...Reached season-high 18 kills against Ohio State (Sept. 13) and at West Virginia (Sept. 27)...Earned all-tournament honors at the Loyola and Panther Invitationals...Recorded six double-doubles on the season.
2008 (Redshirt Sophomore): Saw action in 110 of 111 sets in 2008, starting 27 matches....was second in the squad with two double-doubles, recording 12 kills and 15 digs against Northern Illinois (Sept. 6) and 15 kills and 24 digs at Seton Hall (Nov. 9)...led squd in kills nine times, recording a season high of 17 in back-to-back matches against Syracuse (Oct. 18) and UW-Milwaukee (Oct. 20)...along with career-high setting 17 kills against Syracuse (Oct. 18), recorded a season high hitting percentage of .318 against the Orange...finished the season second on the squad with 307 kills for an average of 2.79 per set.
2007 (Sophomore): Bielski did not play in 2007, earning a redshirt.
2006 (Freshman): In her first season as a Golden Eagle, Bielski saw action in all 31 matches...recorded nine kills in her first collegiate match at Duke (Aug. 25) and registered eight blocks (1 BS, 7 BA) to San Francisco (Sept. 15)...proved to be a strong offensive and defensive player as she tallied her first career double-double, notching 12 kills and 12 blocks (12 BA) in 3-2 victory at USF (Oct. 1)... posted a career-high 13 kills in 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh (Oct. 20)...finished the season with 19 aces and recorded a career-best five in a 3-1 win against Connecticut (Nov. 3)...in a 3-0 victory over Seton Hall (Nov. 10), Bielski matched her career-high with 13 kills while recording a stellar 45.8 hitting percentage...She ended the 2006 season with 235 kills, averaging 2.18 per set.
Prior to Marquette (Chaska High School): Bielski was a four year letterwinner at Chaska High School... culminated her career by earning a spot on the Minneapolis Star Tribune's All-Metro First Team, thanks to a senior season in which she recorded 292 kills, 41 blocks and a .352 hitting percentage...as team captain, she led Chaska to the state championship, on the way earning a spot in the Minnesota state quarterfinals for the third time in four years...was a three-time AAU All-American and at the AAU National Championships her senior year, her team placed third in the 17-and-under division...as a junior, she was a Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association First Team All-State selection, leading Chaska to the state championship...guided her club team to a fifth place finish at the USAV National Championships in the 17 Open Division as a junior.... as a sophomore she was part of a team that won a conference title and advanced to the state quarterfinals, while her AAU squad captured an AAU national title...received three all-conference and two all-state awards during her time at Chaska.
Personal: Bielski was in Lafayette, Ind. to Nancy and Mark Bielski and has two sisters, Lynn and Christine...outside of volleyball, Bielski enjoys downhill skiing and playing the trumpet...majoring in communications studies.
