2012: Saw action vs. NIU (Nov. 24) and tallied a kill ...Picked up four kills and a dig in MU's sweep of Milwaukee (Oct. 30) ... Saw action in two sets against Tennessee Tech (Aug. 31), recording three kills and a dig.

2011: Played in one set in the BIG EAST regular season finale against DePaul (Nov. 13).

2010:Recorded a season-high 10 kills and six blocks in second career start at Georgetown (Sept. 26)...Notched eight kills and nine digs in the first start of her career at USF (Sept. 24)...Saw first career action against Charlotte (Sept. 18) in the Wildcat Classic and recorded an assisted block, along with Carol Henney ...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

High School: Read was named to the PrepVolleyball.com Top 250 Senior Aces list and was ranked by the website throughout her tenure at Chatham High School..As a freshman, Read was named as one of 10 finalists for the national freshman of the year award in addition to being ranked as one of the nation's top players as both a freshman and a sophomore..Named the Newark Star-Ledger Freshman of the Year after her initial campaign at Chatham...Garnered first-team all-conference honors all four years and was named first team all-county and all-area each year...Helped the Cougars compile a 98-11 record during her tenure...Three time all-state selection and named the squad's most valuable player as a sophomore and senior...A National Honor Society and National French Honor Society member, Read played her club volleyball with the Synergy Volleyball Club in King of Prussia, Pa., a two hour drive from her home in New Jersey.

Personal: Read is the youngest of four children to Joel and Lori Read...Born in Tokyo, Japan... majors in exercise science...Mother was a swimmer at Georgia and father played rugby at Clemson.
