Prior to Marquette (Edgewater High School): Jones was a four year letterwinner in volleyball at Edgewater High School...as team captain in 2007, Jones led Edgewater to the regional semifinals of the state tournament...selected as a member of the all-metro first team...recorded 297 kills, 136 digs and 55 blocks as a senior and 286 kills, 71 digs, and 35 blocks as a junior. Personal: Jones was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Aaron and Jan Jones...has two brothers, Aaron III and Michael... father played football at Eastern Kentucky, was a NFL first round draft pick (18th overall) and played nine years in the NFL (Steelers, Patriots and Dolphins)...brother, Aaron III, was a high school All-America football player at Edgewater before playing at Florida State and Eastern Kentucky...younger brother, Michael, is currently a safety on the University of Michigan football team...majors in broadcasting.
