2007 (Junior):Kieser saw action in all 26 matches, playing in 94 total games. On the season she placed fifth on the team with 25 assists for an average of 0.27 per game. Kieser twice dished a career-high three assists against South Florida (Oct. 7) and at Syracuse (Oct. 20). She was fifth on the squad with 189 total digs for an average of 2.01 per game. Kieser posted six games with double-figure digs while registering a career-high 17 digs against Belmont (Sept. 14). Against South Dakota State (Nov. 24) she recorded the only kill of her collegiate career. Kieser also tallied 11 aces on the season, finishing fifth in that category.
2006 (Sophomore): Kieser played in three matches in her second season as a Golden Eagle where she recorded one dig and one kill attempt.
2005 (Freshman): Kieser did not see any action in her freshman season.
Prior to Marquette: A three-year letterwinner in volleyball at Verona Area High School, Jessica Kieser was coached by Amanda Roberts. Kieser was co-captain as a junior and senior and was a first-team all-conference selection both years helping her team to the regional championship in 2004. Kieser also earned three letters as a member of the track team who won the conference championship in 2005.
Personal: Jessica Lee Kieser was born in Milwaukee, Wis. She is the daughter of Randall and Mara Kieser and has one brother Jeremy. Her mother ran track and cross country at Wisconsin. Kieser is an exercise science major.
