Patrick Bowlin is in his first season as volunteer assistant coach for the Marquette women's volleyball program.
Bowlin served as a student assistant coach during the 2011 season at the College of Saint Benedict in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Saint Benedict earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship during his lone season with the squad, which compiled an 18-13 overall record.
His responsibilities with the Blazers included assisting during practice, statistical record keeping, on-court coaching, setter training, opponent scouting, recruiting, as well as day-to-day responsibilities with the program.
He also served as the head women's club volleyball coach at Saint Benedict and assisted with various summer camps in Minnesota.
The native of Winona, Minn., graduated in May 2012 from St. John's (Minn.) University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
