2009 (Freshman): Made 18 starts at libero in addition to seven at defensive specialist...Notched a team-high 344 digs as a freshman for an average of 3.04 per set...Third on the squad with 18 service aces, recording two on four occasions...Reached a career-high 24 digs against Western Michigan (Sept. 11), helping the Golden Eagles to a five-set victory over the Broncos...Also recorded two assists against WMU, one of four contests in which she notched two assists...In 18 starts at libero, reached double figures in digs in 14 of those matches...In addition to career-high 24 digs against WMU, reached 20 digs against Oregon State (Sept. 18) in the Michigan Invitational and at Connecticut (Oct. 9).
Prior to Marquette (Folsom HS): Warner earned four letters in volleyball at Folsom High School, captaining the squad as a junior and senior...named to the Delta River All-League squad as a sophomore, junior and senior...as a senior, named to the Optimist All-Star Senior Team, the San Joaquin Valley All-Metro team, named team MVP and given the Stan Harms Athletic Dedication Award by Folsom HS...took squad to the CIF playoffs during all four seasons...with the Northern California Volleyball Club, qualified three times in the open division for the Junior Olympics...club team was ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation.
Personal: Warner was born in Folsom, Calif., to Matt and Heidi Warner as the youngest of two children (Matt, 21)...has nine former club teammates playing collegiately...graduated from Folsom with a 3.9 grade point average...plans to major in biomedical engineering.
