SOUTH ORANGE, N.J.--The Marquette University women's volleyball team bounced back with a stellar 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-15) sweep at Seton Hall on Saturday evening in New Jersey.

The Golden Eagles (11-6, 3-2) combined hit .330 as a squad, including .467 in the first set, while holding the Pirates 8-8, 2-2) to just a .174 clip in the match.

Redshirt freshman Taylor Louis led MU again in the match with 16 kills, just two errors and hit .424, while redshirt junior Meghan Niemann connected on seven kills and no errors to hit a blistering .500. Junior Sara Blasier dished out a match-high 38 assists, while classmate Lauren Houg collected 18 digs. Junior Ellen Hays added 13 digs.

"We put forth a better effort and had better execution in the match tonight," head coach Ryan Theis said. "I thought we had some balance and got better at blocking and serving today."

Marquette will continue a four-match road stretch and travel to Georgetown on Friday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. Central time.
