Marquette Volleyball to Host Series Of Summer Camps

Jan. 31, 2018

The Marquette women's volleyball team will run a series of camps from June 25 through July 23 for players of all ages from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Each camp focuses on different skill sets for varying genders and age groups, including a youth day camp, volleyschool camp and serving clinics for younger players and college prep, positional day camp and team camps for high school players. All camps take place at Marquette's Al McGuire Center with the exception of a pair of Illinois Satellite camps taking place at the 1st Alliance VB Training Facility located in Woodridge, Ill. Registration is open for all camps and further details are located here. Last year's camps brought more than 500 campers to Marquette's campus and the team encourages participants to register early due to the high demand.

“Summer camps are a great chance for young players to learn some of the techniques we use in the gym everyday here at Marquette," said head coach Ryan Thies. "Our goal is to make young players better, and do so in a positive and fun environment. It’s a great chance to meet and interact with the Marquette student-athletes and have a great experience on our beautiful campus.”
