USAV Tryout Information

MILWAUKEE- Marquette University women's volleyball freshmen Taylor Louis and Jenna Rosenthal will attend tryouts for the USA Women's National Team this weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Around 240 athletes are expected to attend the tryouts from Feb. 20-22, during which time athletes will be selected for not only the Women's National Team, but the National Collegiate Team (formerly the Senior A2 Team) and the U.S. Women's Junior National Team.

Louis came to MU after earning three varsity letters, two conference titles and a regional title at Niles North High School. The Skokie, Illinois native holds a school record for career kills (998) and single-season-season kills (396 in 2013) at Niles North.

Rosenthal (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) was a two-sport athlete at Fond du Lac High School and earned first team all-conference honors as a senior in 2013 after averaging four kills and just over one block per set.

Both hitters redshirted the 2014 campaign as Marquette went 24-9 and made its fourth-straight appearance in the NCAA Championship.
