Complete Release

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Redshirt junior Jenna Rosenthal will represent Marquette University volleyball abroad and has made the 12-player U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team China Tour roster.

The selection marks Rosenthal's third national team and second time on the CNT-China roster after the Fond du Lac native played in China in the summer of 2016 and toured Europe with the collegiate team last summer. She has already found success at the national level, taking home gold in the 13th Annual European Global Challenge in 2017.

Rosenthal is one of two BIG EAST representatives on the squad, joining Taryn Kloth from Creighton and the team will train and compete in China from May 20-31. Besides Rosenthal and Kloth, the team will have a strong Midwest presence, featuring players from the University of Wisconsin (Dana Rettke) and University of Minnesota (Stephanie Samedy) and will be coached by Chris Tamas from the University of Illinois. The 12-team roster came after U.S. Women's National Team Open Tryouts March 2-4 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The middle hitter led Marquette in blocks per set last season (1.07) and has landed on the all-BIG EAST First Team and AVCA All-East Coast Region team in consecutive seasons. The Golden Eagles wrapped last season with a 22-10 record and their seventh straight NCAA appearance.
