MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women’s volleyball team resumes its home spring schedule against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Al McGuire Center. The match is free and open for all to attend.

Marquette opened the spring campaign last Saturday with a 2-1 showing, including wins over Green Bay and Loyola (Ill.) and a loss to Wisconsin.

The Golden Eagles swept the Panthers during the fall season at the Al McGuire Center on Sept. 10, 2011. Senior outside hitter Ashley Beyer led the Golden Eagles in that match with 12 kills, while fellow senior Ciara Jones and junior middle hitter Danielle Carlson added 10 in the 3-0 decision.

Both teams will engage in drills at 5 p.m. prior to the match at 7 p.m.
