MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's volley team hosted its annual spring tournament this past weekend, welcoming Green Bay, Illinois State and UW-Milwaukee to the Al McGuire Center.

The Golden Eagles went undefeated on the day, claiming a pair of best-of-three-set matches against Green Bay and Illinois State, and defeating UWM in four sets. Senior-to-be Julie Jeziorowski paced the back line for the Golden Eagles picking up a total of 50 digs on the day. The libero averaged out roughly 5.5 digs per set.

Freshman Meghan Niemann led Marquette in kills with 27 kills on the day, while Lindsey Gosh finished right behind the Jackson, Wis., native with 26.

MU will return to action on April 6, for an all-day event when they head to Aurora, Ill., for the Great Lakes Center Collegiate Challenge.
