MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's volleyball team took first in the silver bracket for the second year in a row at the Great Lakes Center Collegiate Tournament on Saturday, April 6.

The Golden Eagles were successful in pool play, finishing 1-1 with a 3-0 win over Bradley and a 0-2 loss to Michigan State. Freshman Erin Lehman had 16 kills in pool play and hit .421 against Bradley.

The Golden Eagles defeated Notre Dame 2-0 in the championship of the silver bracket to end the day of competition. Lindsey Gosh had eight kills and hit .353 on the day, while freshman Meghan Niemann hit .500.

Marquette returns home to face Northwestern at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 11 at the Al McGuire Center.
