MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Marquette University women's volleyball team concluded its 2010 spring campaign a perfect 10-0 after defeating Minnesota, North Dakota State and 2009 NCAA National Runner-up Texas Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles began the day by defeating the host Minnesota Golden Gophers, 2-1, (25-22, 9-25, 25-22) before taking down the Texas Longhorns, 2-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-21). MU then beat North Dakota State, 2-0, (25-23, 27-25) in its final match of the day.

Sophomores Ashley Beyer and Ciara Jones once again led the Golden Eagles' attack with 37 and 25 kills, respectively. Beyer led MU with 15 kills against each Minnesota and Texas.
