MILWAUKEE--Head coach Ryan Theis has announced the 2015 Marquette University volleyball schedule for the fall campaign.
The Golden Eagles will look to advance to their fifth-straight NCAA Tournament in 2015 after concluding last season with a 24-9 overall record. They return nine players, including All-BIG EAST first team performer Meghan Niemann, and will have five newcomers to the fall roster.
"I'm really excited for our schedule this year," Theis said. "There are multiple 20-win teams on the schedule, which should make for a really challenging pre-season. I'm looking forward to getting back on the court and getting our season started."
Marquette will open the season on Friday, Aug. 28 against North Dakota at 4:00 p.m. CT in Ames, Iowa. The Golden Eagles will then face Dayton at 11:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, Aug. 29 before taking on host school Iowa State at 6:30 p.m. CT.
