Triplesfest Registration | Summer Camp Registration

MILWAUKEE - The registration deadline for Marquette volleyball's 2011 summer camps and Triplesfest, a 3-on-3 grass volleyball tournament, is fast approaching.

Sign-up for Triplesfest, which will be held Saturday, June 25 at the Bradford Beach grass area, continues until Thursday, June 23 at noon. Each team is allowed a maximum of five players with a registration fee of $35 per person. The event features a $1,000 guaranteed purse, raffle giveaways, and free lunch, snacks, and beverages.

Summer camps kick off on July 5 with the first of three sessions of FUNdamental Camps that run through July 24. This camp is for boys and girls in grades 3-8 to learn the basic skills of volleyball while having fun.

The Golden Eagle Individual Camp runs July 8-10, for girls in grades 8-12. This camp is for players of every position who want to gain experience with new skills and improve old ones.

Specialized Skill Camp will take place July 15-17 for high school girls. This camp will provide focused training for each player to gain knowledge in different positional skill sets.

A team camp is held July 19-22 for girl's varsity and junior varsity teams. This camp will provide team building and bonding, educational sessions on recruiting, and each team will be challenged with daily competition.

A camp for high school liberos will occur July 23-24 to provide knowledge in passing and defensive techniques.

The Marquette Golden Eagles Boys Camp also runs July 23-24, for high school boys and is designed to provide a top-level experience for high school players seeking to improve their skills and game play.
