MILWAUKEE -  A beautiful Saturday morning and afternoon allowed for a great day of action at Triplefest, a three-on-three volleyball tournament hosted by the Marquette women's volleyball program.

Approximately 150 competitors showed up for the event, which was played at the Bradford Beach grass area, further north on Milwaukee's Lakefront from the previous location at Veteran's Park.

Head coach Bond Shymansky showed off his talent behind the grill, cooking hot dogs and hamburgers to feed all those involved, while the musical selections of assistant coach Michaela Franklin provided a great soundtrack to the day's competition.
