Volleyball To Host Scrimmage and Youth Clinic

MILWAUKEE- The Marquette University women's volleyball team has revealed the date for its annual Blue and Gold scrimmage, along with a youth clinic, which will be held prior to the match. Tickets for the upcoming campaign will go on sale Monday, July 25.
The Golden Eagles will hold the Little Eagles youth clinic on Sunday, August 21 at noon at the Al McGuire Center, with kids ages K-8th grade being eligible to receive instruction from Marquette student-athletes and coaches. Following the clinic, a pizza party will be held for the Little Eagles at 1:30 p.m. The cost for the pizza party is just $5 and includes a t-shirt and pizza.
The Blue and Gold scrimmage will begin at 2:00 p.m. with post-match autographs and poster signing at approximately 3:30 p.m. Admission to the scrimmage is free.
Season tickets for the 2016 Marquette volleyball season will go on sale Monday at $40 for general admission seats and $70 for courtside seats. Season ticket packages will include tickets to every home match, a t-shirt, an invitation to a cookout with the team after the Blue and Gold scrimmage, and an invite to the team's 2016 year-end banquet.

Marquette will open the 2016 season Aug. 26 against USC in Los Angeles, California. The Golden Eagles' home-opener is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 p.m., when MU will host Iowa State at the Al McGuire Center as a part of the Marquette Invitational.
