MILWAUKEE- If you were to ask middle hitter Teal Schnurr as a high school freshman where she would be in five years, odds are she wouldn't have said a volleyball player at Marquette University.

The Westminster, Colo., native didn't start playing competitive volleyball until her freshman at Standley Lake High School.

Eventually developing into a standout player for the Gators, Schnurr led her high school squad in kills (477), hitting percentage (.324) and blocks (52) as a senior in 2012.
